On October 17 and 18, 2024, a major symposium was held in Banyuls-sur-Mer (Pyrénées-Orientales). The theme was "Les Passeurs et les évadés durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale" ("Smugglers and escapees during the Second World War"). A total of 16 contributors contributed to renewing the history and historiography of escape networks to Spain and the diplomatic stakes involved. The event was well attended, with 245 participants. In Visegrad-Hungary in September 2024 " In Visegrad-Hungary in September 2024, the 13th annual forum of the Council of Europe's cultural routes was held.
